Work History:
- “Secretary General” of the prestigious Chamber ” Indo African Chamber of Commerce & Industry, since 1985 for almost 35 years and “Executive Director/Founder” of the “Indo-Arab Chamber of Commerce & Industries” since 1983. Needless to say that equal parts diplomat and advocate, civil servant and CEO, the Secretary-General is a symbol of unity and a spokesperson for the interests of the CHAMBER where she has done justice to her post successfully.
- In her three and a half decade career, she led a number of innovative and Impactful initiatives across 24 Arab and 53 African countries with the Foreign Trade Promotion Division team.
Areas of Expertise:
- One of the most vital roles played by the Secretary-General is the use of their “good offices” — steps taken publicly and in private, drawing upon their independence, impartiality and integrity, to prevent international disputes from arising, escalating or spreading.
- Because of her passion and dedication for promoting and protecting the interest of Africa she has been conferred by the African chancellery as “MAMA AFRICA“- and “ENCYCLOPEDIA ON AFRICA” she still continues her contribution for bringing both the Afro- Arab and India together for a sustainable growth of the trade ,commerce and economy.
- She has proven records for successfully organising the annual mega event for the Chamber “Africa Trade Summit, “I FOR Afrika” and Africa Day to name a few. Apart from this she has prepared 137 articles on Africa business opportunities and scope for India with challenges.
